Join us on our breathtaking Caminito del Rey guided tour, a series of pathways that rise over 100 metres above the gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes.

Description

Do you dare cross over “the world´s most dangerous walkway?” Discover one of the major tourist attractions in Spain on our Caminito del Rey tickets + guided tour, a tour that offers the most stunning views as you cross over the walkways that hang over 100 metres high.

Caminito del Rey is a walkway pinned along the steep walls of the gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a canyon carved by the river Guadalhorce in the territory of Alora. It owes its name to the visit of King Alfonso XIII in 1921 when he opened it.

This fascinating walk is over 3 kilometres and at some points reaches over 100 metres high and at other points is barely 1 metre wide. The entire route of Caminito del Rey is 7.7km including some parts that are walkways and rest accesses; the route is linear and goes in one direction downwards from the north to the south.

During the entire hike Caminito del Rey tickets + guided tour our Spanish speaking guide will share with you all there is to know about this exceptional route, its history and anecdotes relating to its construction.
