Free Tour Burgos Monumental

We will start our tour at the Museum of Human Evolution, where we will discover the most important events of the city, how Burgos became the capital of Spain and why it was a key player during the Reconquest.

We will then cross the Bridge of San Pablo to continue to the majestic and unique Casa del Condestable and then head to the Plaza del Cid.

During the tour we will visit the Teatro Principal and continue along the Paseo del Espolón until we reach the Arch of Santa María, visiting the interior of the medieval tower. 

Then, we will go to the most emblematic place of the city, the Cathedral of Burgos, where we will meet the famous bell ringer Papamoscas and his assistant Martinillo.

We will go to the Santa María Gate, the most important of the walls of Burgos, which offers the most iconic views of the city. From there, we will continue to the Cathedral of Burgos. We will continue to the church of San Nicolás de Bari and then to the Plaza Mayor.

Then, we will cross the Arch of San Juan and we will visit the famous Church of San Lesmes Abad.

Finally, we will say goodbye at the Monastery of San Juan, one of the jewels of the city of Burgos.
