The route starts from the centre of Bilbao directly towards La Rioja. The route takes us through mountainous landscapes until we reach the plateau with its oak and beech forests.

Our first stop will be in Haro, the wine capital of La Rioja, where we will visit CVNE, a centenary and emblematic winery of the area. We will take a guided tour of its essential spaces, pass through the underground cellars and enjoy a wine tasting.

After visiting the winery, we will take a guided walking tour of the historic centre of Haro, where we will visit the Plaza de la Paz. We will continue our journey passing through the Haro Station District, where the largest number of hundred-year-old wineries are concentrated, to head towards the beautiful medieval town of Laguardia.

In Laguardia, we will take a walk through its picturesque narrow streets, as it is a famous village in the Rioja Alavesa for its Historical Monumental Site and its magnificent wineries. We will visit a small traditional winery where we will be able to learn about the winemaking process from a family perspective.

At the end of the visit to the winery, we will have free time for lunch, your guide will recommend the best places to eat.

Direct return to Bilbao and arrival in the centre of Bilbao mid-afternoon.
