The tour begins at the Roman Theater, built in the time of Augustus in the 1st century AD and discovered in 1951 during the remodeling works of the old House of Culture. As we walk through its ancient stands, our guide in Spanish will tell us curiosities about its use and construction. He will also tell us about the Lex Flavia Malacitana, the first Malaga municipal law, whose fragments are reproduced on the external walls of the Interpretation Center next to the theater.
After the view on the Roman Theater, we will go up to the Alcazaba of Malaga, one of the most significant monuments of the city for its history and beauty. This fortress palace is located at the foot of Mount Gibralfaro and was built in the 11th century for defensive purposes.
