Don't miss the chance to see the center of Madrid, where you will be astonished by the spectacular urban lighting. We will enjoy the traditional Christmas market in the Plaza Mayor, which is more than 400 years old.
We will walk along Calle Mayor until we reach Puerta del Sol, where we will delight ourselves with the large Christmas tree and where we will tell you, in detail, the history of the famous Campanadas and the Twelve Grapes, a tradition of Spanish origin. In this square, you can also enjoy the traditional Bethlehem of the Real Casa de Correos.
We will go up to Calle del Carmen to see the famous Doña Manolita lottery office. It is the most popular and most traditional in Spain. Open since 1904, a true Christmas icon!
We will arrive at the Gran Vía, contemplating that explosion of light and color into which the sky of Madrid is transformed at Christmas. We will go down to Calle de Alcalá, where we will see the Cibeles Fountain, the decoration of the Post Office (current City Hall), and the Puerta de Alcalá.

“Gran Ruta a pie con Carlos III, digo Cristian”
Cristian estuvo genial con la historia de madrid y enseñarnos las luces, aunque había mucha gente e iba algo rápido, nunca nos perdió de vista.
