Excursion to Beach of the Cathedrals from Lugo

We will pick you up from your hotel, from there we will start the Excursion to Beach of the Cathedrals from Lugo.

Located halfway between Ribadeo and Foz, in the heart of Mariña Lucense, Augas Santas beach, known as beach of cathedrals for its wonderful arches and shapes that the Cantabrian Sea has formed in the rocks for thousands of years. Its peculiarity is that the arches and shapes formed by maritime erosion are only visible when there is low tide. Upon entering this beautiful enclave, we will appreciate the details of its incredible rock formations, declared a Natural Monument.

After enjoying these landscapes shaped by erosion, we will move towards the municipality of Ribadeo. Located a few kilometers from the holy waters beach, the last Galician coastal town before entering Asturias has Roman origins.

We will also taste the seafood cuisine of the Ribadeo estuary after taking a walk through the center. In addition, we will go to the Illa Pancha lighthouse, which currently houses one of the most unique hotels in Galicia, or swim in one of its many beaches.
