Located in the center of the Terras do Miño Biosphere Reserve, the ancient city of Lucus Augusti offers the visitor a great diversity of both natural and cultural resources. With two World Heritage Sites, the Roman Wall and the Lugo Cathedral, the city is one of the most important stops on the Primitive Way to Santiago.

In Lugo Free Walking Tour we can visit Roman remains such as the wall, bridge, thermal baths or mosaics; the complete network of unique museums such as the Domus de Mitreo (ancient temple dedicated to the eastern god Mitra), the House of Mosaics or the Provincial Museum; or the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful and charming in Galicia.

After the walk, we can enjoy Lugo gastronomy in the "wine area", with which we will accompany with the famous tapas of Lugo: Plaza do Campo, Rua Nova, Rua da Cruz ... This area allows us to stroll through the squares and nooks and crannies from the city.

You will not be able to leave Lugo without taking a walk along the river Miño. The Paseo del Miño runs for about 18 km in the city, passing through several parks, next to the Lugo spa where we can see the hot springs, the Roman bridge or the Ponte neighborhood. All the walk along the "river Padre Gallego" in which we can see the natural wealth of trees and animals.
