We begin in the Plaza de la Virgen, one of the most central points of the city, where we will visit the Basilica of the Virgen de los Desamparados and the Tribunal de las Aguas. Afterwards, we will delve into the Roman foundation of the city in the archaeological center of La Almoina and the different cultures that have inhabited Valencia and that have marked the character of the city. We will go to the central market area of Valencia, the largest in Europe, where we will get to know the gastronomy of the city, we will not only talk about the famous paella, we will also get to know Valencian traditions such as esmorzaret.
We will enter the silk market and the merchants to reveal the secrets it hides (we enter every day except Sunday afternoon). We will stroll through the city to observe the church of San Nicolas from the outside, the so-called Valencian Sistine Chapel, and the Gothic-style Valencian palaces on Calle Caballeros until we reach the Palau de la Generalitat Valenciana, where we will get to know Valencia foral.
