Let yourself be guided to discover all the corners of this beautiful medieval city and enjoy all its tourist attractions.
If you fancy a dynamic guided tour full of anecdotes ... THIS IS YOUR TOUR!
The tour begins next to one of our local icons, the Devil of Segovia, from where you can see one of the best panoramic views of the Aqueduct. Then we will enter the walled enclosure, contemplating the most imposing defensive houses in the city ... have you heard of the Casa de las Cadenas? It is located in the square with the most palaces in all of Segovia.
From there, we cross the main medieval streets to reach the most charming square, San Martín, presided over by the statue of the community member Juan Bravo and its beautiful facades ... do you already know our sgraffito? We tell you the origin of this centuries-old decorative technique.
Immersing ourselves in the Jewish Quarter, we will discover one of the wealthiest villages in medieval Castile, observing part of its synagogues and even the house of the last rabbi of the entire Sephardic community.
At the bottom of its narrow streets, the head of the Lady of the Cathedrals appears, did you know that under its tower, originally the highest of the Spanish cathedrals, rests the little infant Don Pedro? ... his story leaves no one indifferent and we will have the opportunity to locate ourselves in the place where Isabel la Católica was proclaimed Queen of Castile in 1474.
Routing through Segovia, Antonio Machado accompanies you to cross the Barrio de las Canongías, where the house where the poet lived and a good example of the spectacular preserved Romanesque is located. The tour ends at the Alcázar, a medieval fortress-palace that seduces the visitor at first sight.
