Rías Baixas Day Trip + Boat + Winery

On this excursion, you will be able to enjoy all its art, its history, its towns on the shore of the Atlantic, its Albariño wine and the best seafood in the area.

Things to do Rías Baixas Day Trip + Boat + Winery

With the Rías Baixas Day Trip, you will discover one of the most popular regions of Galicia, famous for its rugged landscapes and good wines. It’s also one of the most touristic areas of Galicia due to the quality of its beaches and its traditional seafood dishes.

The first stop will be a Galician winery where we can taste these liquors in a wine tasting, which includes 3 varieties of wine from the area, accompanied by a local appetizer.

Leaving this wonderful tasting, we will head towards Praia da Lanzada, a place that hides Celtic legends and traditions, as well as Christian rituals. We will arrive, and we will be delighted with the beautiful panorama that the Bay leaves us, as well as the Sea breaking incredibly against the stones.

And what would it be like to come to the Rias Baixas and not know Illa da Toxa? We will visit the island, with its famous Capela das Cunchas, a chapel completely covered in scallop shells, as well as its bridge that connects O Grove with Toxa.

The Galician waters and rafts are known worldwide, which is why we will take you for a walk along the coast, on a catamaran to learn about this very particular way of raising the rich Galician mussels. Here on the boat we will have a walk of approximately 1 hour where we will taste mussels, wine, soft drinks and water while we cross the Ria de Arousa.

Afterwards, we will arrive at the picturesque town of Combarro, one of the towns that has best preserved traditional Galician architecture. There you can get an idea of how almost all Galician towns were originally, full of granaries.

To finish our Rías Baixas Day Trip, we will relax in the Rio Barosa Natural Park, a place with great charm, with its series of mills and waterfalls that are not in vain one of the most visited places by the people of the area.
