Hiking Route in Anaga

Enjoy this hiking trail that will take you through the Anaga Rural Park for approximately 3 hours. During the tour, you will watch the typical Canarian laurel forest found in the summits, as well as junipers, dragon trees and palm trees. In addition, you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views and get up close to the history of the place with a visit to Cruz del Carmen Visitor Center, a very suitable place to explore, in a few minutes, the history, the cultural value of the park, the characteristics which make it a site of scientific interest and more information about the district of Anaga, the largest on the island of Tenerife. 

To make this route it is necessary that you wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothes. We recommend you enjoy the scenery and take as many photos as you can, since you will be in one of the most spectacular places of Tenerife. Do not forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, water and a snack to eat during the trip. This activity is not suitable for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. 

The starting point for this hiking route is at Cafetería Carmita (in La Laguna) at approximately 10:00 towards Monte de La Orilla and Camino de Solís. The guide reserves the right not to allow participants that are not in good health conditions to do the route.
