South Tour: Timanfaya, Volcano Tour and la Geria

This guided tour through the South Tour of Lanzarote will start with a pick up in your holiday resort and go to the National Park of Timanfaya, better known as "Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains)’’, our first stop. Once there, we will do the Route of the Volcanoes, one of the must-do activities on your holidays in Lanzarote. The volcanic landscape around Timanfaya is really spectacular, which shows the importance of the eruptions almost 300 years ago. There are geothermal demonstrations inside the National Park! If you wish, you can take a camel ride through the volcanic landscapes surrounding Timanfaya National Park (not included in the price of the tour).

One of the places you cannot miss on your visit to Lanzarote is the vineyard area of La Geria, which will be our next destination. In this wine area par excellence, some of the best wines of the Canary Islands which have gained the quality mark "Denomination of Origin" are produced. We will have the change to taste the wine of Lanzarote in one of the best cellars of the island.

Our tour through the south of Lanzarote doesn’t finish here, however our last stops will be in El Golfo, : one of the more interesting places in Lanzarote thanks to its geological characteristics.
