The Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos is a military building in the city of Córdoba, Spain, located on one of the banks of the Guadalquivir River. The monarch Alfonso XI of Castile ordered its construction in 1328 on the old Andalusian Alcázar, previously the residence of the Roman governor and customs.
