Me and my girlfriend did not expect to have such a fun time learning sbout traditional foods of Catalonia, as well as hear so many fun facts about Barcelona. We were luck to have the guide to ourselves as another party had cancelled. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, took us to local places for the most off the touristic spot. We enjoyed seeing another side to the city. We tried local sweets and cheese and ham and explored the local market. Various eating places were pointed out for lunch and dinner. Enjoyable 1 and 1/2.

I booked this tour for myself and three friends, and due to a few last-minute cancellations, we ended up enjoying a private gastronomic experience in Barcelona with our guide, Riccardo. He’s a genuinely friendly person with fantastic local connections. His knowledge of Barcelona’s history and hidden gems is impressive, and he clearly enjoys sharing it with visitors.
The tour includes several complimentary tastings at select shops the organizer partners with. Each stop highlights classic staples of Barcelona’s culinary tradition. There’s also one place where you can sit down, purchase a beer or wine to pair with excellent Spanish ham and cheese, and use the restroom.
The entire experience lasts about two hours. Highly recommended!

“Flexible and Fun”
Great tour, great guide and great group who all got along brilliantly. Fun little outing that I would recommend to anyone. Even though there’s an intinerary, we didnt stick strictly to it. I always appreciate tours that allow some flexibility. During our stop for vermouth tasting (delicious) we decided as a group to share the tapas set menu, turning the tour into dinner as well which connected everyone even more. As we all know, breaking bread is a great way to bond.

I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced this food tour with Francisco. Due to a no-show from the other two groups, I ended up being the only guest — but Francisco still gave his absolute best, and I was truly touched by his dedication and kindness.
It honestly felt like spending the day with a close friend. He was attentive to my preferences, making sure I felt comfortable — even adjusting the food selections when I mentioned things I didn’t want to eat. He also took extra time to explain things I was curious about, and shared so many great recommendations for must-try foods and hidden spots around Barcelona.
If you’re considering a food tour in Barcelona, I can’t recommend this one — and Francisco — enough. It was a genuinely warm, delicious, and memorable experience

Our small Group tour (6) with Ricardo was an exceptional experience thru the Gothic and Bari areas with history and architecture included. We enjoyed the experience, took the surprise at the end with tapas ( our expense) at a nice restaurant. Ricardo also recommended and booked for us a paella speciality restaurant for tomorrow. We are an older couple and found the tour well paced. Recommended for all age groups.

Fun tour! We got to taste some yummy Catalan specialties and also learn a bit of history and cultural fun facts. Laid back vibe with opportunities to take pictures and hang out to enjoy a drink or snack. Be sure to do this tour early in your trip; the guide will show you some very interesting spots to try traditional drinks and sweet and savoury dishes at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

“Interesting, informative and great fun”

Aside from the 20 min fast walk to get to " new" location when we arrived at expected location 30 min early, it was great. Learned historical facts we NEVER would have seen or encountered! Small group but his management was great and the " stops" love him and the samples were sufficient for all. Pick his brain for additional ideas and please tip for advice and plans.

Richardo was an amazing tour guide, we had a great time! He has a sparkling personality, it was a joy to be around him. We had tapas on the tour (that he bought us) and then we had dessert at a different location. On the tour we visited some famous places around the city in a historic perspective. “Tornike”
I’ve been on free tours all around Europe yet I’ve never had an experience quite like this one with Tornike. The atmosphere is amazing, he’s really helpful and considerate. We had enough time to try all the food that was offered and the guide was very understanding when it came to our needs like restroom or picture breaks. Overall a tasty and unforgettable experience????
