Things to do Free Tour of Roman Barcelona

Welcome to the walking tour through Barcelona's Roman history! During this exciting journey, we will explore some of the most emblematic corners that attest to the legacy of ancient Barcino. We will visit: roman Sepulchral Way (an eternal resting place for the ancient inhabitants of the city), Plaza Nova (we will be welcomed by one of the four main entrances of the ancient Roman Barcino), Plaza Ramon Berenguer (where the ancient city wall will be waiting for us), Plaza de los Traginers (we will tell you about its commercial and social importance), Porta de Mar (an ancient gate of the Roman wall that marked the entrance to the city from the sea), Sant Jaume Square (where the forum was located, which was the political and religious heart of the city in Roman times, we will see its ruins in the MUHBA, as well as the original columns of the Temple of Augustus), the Domus de Sant Honorat (where we can enter an authentic Roman house and discover how its inhabitants lived more than two thousand years ago) and finally, after 2 hours of walking we will conclude our tour in the Plaza Real.
