Almería Free Tour

With this free tour through the center of the city of Almería you will be able to discover its history and culture with an expert local guide who will show you the most emblematic part of the city.

At 11:00 we will meet in the Plaza de la Catedral, next to the main entrance of the Cathedral to go on an unforgettable walk and get to know Almería first-hand.

We will walk through its streets and immerse ourselves in history passing through the shelters of the Spanish Civil War, some of the most important monuments such as the Alcazaba, one of the largest fortified complexes in Spain, and the Cathedral. We will have the opportunity to see the walk of the stars and learn about the link that the city has had with the cinema as well as we will also have the opportunity to visit some of the most significant museums in the center such as the Heritage Interpretation Center or the Doña art museum Pakyta.

We will walk through the old Muslim quarter, the Almedina and we will visit certain monuments of the iron age, the central market and the English Cable, an old mineral loading dock that is located on the seashore.
