Guided tour Alcazaba of Almeria

Do you want to know one of the most important Andalusian monumental complexes in Spain? Our guides in Spanish will make a guided tour of the Alcazaba of Almeria. We will meet at the indicated time in Almanzor street, next to the Alcazaba Gate. Once we have entered the monument, we will discover the three large internal enclosures that make up the Citadel of Almeria. Walking through the gardens of the first enclosure, we will arrive at the Vela Wall and the Mirror Tower. In addition, we will enjoy the views of the Salient Bulwark. Later we will arrive at the Wall of the Candle, where the Bell of the Candle, warned of the events, fires or arrival of ships to the bay.

In the second enclosure we will find the Odalisca viewpoint, from where we will obtain impressive views of the entire city and the port.

Finally, the third enclosure will take us to discover the most recent part of the Alcazaba. After the capture of the city, a modern palace was ordered to be built, protected by three towers: The Powder Tower, the place where the explosive material was kept; the Mirror Tower, a location that you will surely recognize from Game of Thrones; and the Ferris Wheel Tower.

To finish we will contemplate the panoramic views of the Jairan Walls and the San Cristobal Hill.
