We met our guide at Plaza de la Constitucion. Javier gave us an interesting and informative interpretive guided walk around Malaga. From Plaza de la Constitucion, we walked down Marquis De Larios, and then to the cathedral, the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, and passed Picasso's birthplace and museum.

“Wonderful Introduction to Malaga Historic Highlights”
My wife and I had been wanting to visit Malaga and it was possible this month. As we had no idea where to start we were very pleased to see the FreeTour firm have a guided tour of the city centre !
We scheduled it an hour after arrival and were SO LUCKY to have JULIO as our local guide.
In the 90 minutes with him we covered the labyrinth of narrow streets so efficiently ( I hate to think how lost we´d have been on our own !).
Julio was so pleasant, patient with questions and made our walk at a very comfortable but active pace to see all major sights. His historical explanations also addecd so much to our understanding & appreciation of Malaga.
And his local recommendations for bars and restaurants to catch lunch at afterwards really helped avoiding the tourist eateries !!

He is full of stories about his birthplace, maintains an entertaining energy during the tour and was attentive to answer to all of my questions with relevant information. “nice guide, but not much info”
The organisation was good, tour splitted in ES and EN speaking groups which were due to its large number of participants splitted again. Can't say anything negative, but looks like our interests abt the history and architecture details of the city was not served as much as the infos provided which place and museum to visit at which time to avoid crowds..

Loved this tour with Maria. Loved Malaga. Truly a fantastic morning. Then we spent the afternoon in the market eating tapas. Maria was so great and knowledgeable.

Nuestra guía fue María que aunque nos contó que no era malagueña de nacimiento lo siente como si lo fuera y así nos lo ha transmitido a nosotros. Muy amable y muy simpática interesándose por todos los integrantes del tour. Repetiríamos sin duda!!!
