Picos de Europa & Potes Trip

After picking you up from the different meeting points, we will begin the Picos de Europa & Potes Trip crossing the rivers, forests and small towns located in the surroundings of the La Hermida gorge.

We will make the first stop at the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana. Did you know that this place is one of the four Holy Places of Christianity? The reason is because, inside the monastery, the Lignum Crucis is kept: the largest piece of wood that is preserved from the Cross of Jesus Christ. After learning about the history of the monastery, we will go to the viewpoint of the hermitage of San Miguel to enjoy beautiful views of the Picos de Europa.

From Santo Toribio de Liébana we will follow the route to Fuente Dé, where you will have an hour and a half free. You can take advantage of this time to ride the famous Picos de Europa cable car or to enjoy a horseback ride through this magnificent natural environment.

Next, we will follow the route to Potes. This municipality, capital of the Liébana region, is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Especially noteworthy is its famous Torre del Infantado and its bridges and cobbled streets.

You will have around an hour of free time to have lunch in Potes. After lunch, we will take a short guided walk through the town and, finally, we will return to the different meeting points, where the arrival is scheduled between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m
