Ronda, a beautiful white town located in the Serranía de Ronda, is one of the most important tourist cities in Malaga and a favorite destination within Andalusia. Discover why with our Essential Ronda Tour with Lara Museum Tickets included, you will be surprised by the beauty and history of this Malaga enclave!
We will start our walk in the Iglesia de la Merced, where one of the most famous relics in Spain is found: the reliquary that contains the incorrupt hand of Saint Teresa of Jesus. We will also walk through the beautiful Alameda del Tajo, full of a wide variety of plant species (some of them bicentennial) and around the Real Maestranza Bullring, one of the oldest and most picturesque in Spain.
Then we will cross the famous Puente Nuevo, the most famous monument in Ronda for its impressive views of the Tajo de Ronda, the gorge on which the city sits. From there you can also see the Casa del Rey Moro, a very labyrinthine palace full of stairs.
While we enjoy this panoramic view, our guide in Spanish will talk to us about the typical crafts and gastronomy of the place, ask him for recommendations! In the historic center, we will pass in front of the Municipal Museum and the beautiful palace of the Casa de San Juan Bosco.
Our Essential Round Walking Tour ends at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, near the Church of Santa María la Mayor, which still preserves the Mirhab arch from the old mosque built in Muslim times.
