You will be picked up at the meeting point to start this Excursion to Gibraltar from Jerez heading to the southeast of Andalusia. On the way to the border crossing of La Línea de La Concepción you can enjoy the wonderful surroundings of the Alcornocales Natural Park and you will see some of the beautiful Andalusian white villages in the distance.
As soon as you cross the border, you will have reached your destination. Once in Gibraltar, you will take a panoramic tour (known as a "rock tour") that will take you through the most famous corners of this British colony and its nature reserve. You will start by visiting the viewpoint of the Pillars of Hercules to see the city from above and enjoy a beautiful view of the Strait of Gibraltar with the dozens of ships that sail through its waters.
Then you will be taken to the spectacular Cueva de San Miguel to explore its incredible illuminated galleries full of stalactites and stalagmites. The tour will then continue and feature the famous monkeys of Gibraltar. Let's see if you can take a picture of them!
Finally, the "rock tour" will come to an end visiting the imposing Moorish Castle of Gibraltar and the Great Siege Tunnels, an amazing complex of galleries excavated by English soldiers when the English and Spanish armies besieged the rock to try to recover it.
After the panoramic tour, you will be dropped off on Main Street, Gibraltar's main street, so you can enjoy some free time and do some shopping in its stores, taking advantage of its juicy prices.
To finish the Excursion to Gibraltar from Jerez, you will return to your transport to start the journey back to Jerez.
