We will begin this Huelva Free Tour in the Barrio Reina Victoria or Barrio Obrero, one of the greatest examples of the legacy that the British left in Huelva after their arrival in the 19th century, as well as the Casa Colón (former Hotel Colón), a key place in the city development.
Right in the center of the city, we will pass by a 15th-century house, the Town Hall, the majestic Gran Teatro and the Plaza de las Monjas, a meeting point for the people of Huelva and the heart of Huelva, with a great history behind it.
In the second part of the tour we will admire the Iglesia Mayor de San Pedro, the oldest in the city, built in the 14th century, and archaeological remains, among which a Roman aqueduct from the 3rd century stands out, to reach the Plaza de la Merced and know the Merced Cathedral.
Next we will visit the Mora Claros Palace and the venerated Church of the Immaculate Conception, from where we will set off for the last part of the visit.
We will go through the most modern streets of Huelva to, after visiting the Mercado del Carmen, end the visit at the Dock of the Rio Tinto Company or Muelle del Tinto, emblem of the city and a place with spectacular views, the finishing touch of gold to this complete route through Huelva.
