Things to do Discover the Heroic City: Free Tour Valladolid
Through art and emblematic monuments we will travel back centuries to learn about pre-Hispanic Mayan life in Valladolid, its conquest and its participation in historical events of national importance such as the "Caste War" and the Mexican Social Revolution. Come and enjoy with me this tour that I am so passionate about, perfect for history and culture lovers. I can also help you find more places of interest in Valladolid and its surroundings. Meeting point H. City Hall of Valladolid. NOTE: Most of the tour takes place in the hall of the murals of the H. Ayuntamiento and ends in the main park. Of course, more sites could be visited depending on the availability of the group and the guide. IMPORTANT: Tours can be booked the same day of the activity but with a minimum of 2 hours in advance in order to arrive on time at the meeting point and avoid "no-shows".

“Didn't happen”
The tour guide canceled about an hour before cause he had a Dentist appointment. He gave an option for the evening tour, unfortunately, we were leaving and wouldn't be able to make it.

The time spent in the town hall was super informative and the information was delivered in an easy and understandable way. “Totalmente recomendable ”
El tour con Joel ha sido excelente, nos ha explicado muy bien la historia de Valladolid y la zona centro. Al terminar nos ha preguntado si queríamos seguir, a lo que respondimos que sí, y nos llevó hasta el convento de San Bernardino de Siena y nos comentó la historia del mismo, parando por el camino a probar licores y productos derivados de la miel local.
Un plan imprescindible si visitas está ciudad.

“Very good tour! ”
Het was een hele informatieve tour over de geschiedenis van Valladolid. De tour was vooral in het stadhuis waar een aantal grote schilderijen hangen met de geschiedenis uitgebeeld. We hadden wel verwacht dat we ook nog de stad in zouden gaan maar dat was niet het geval. Echter vertelde Joel heel boeiend en heeft hij ons tips gegeven om na de tour te gaan doen. Heel behulpzaam! Bedankt voor het vertellen van het verhaal van Valladolid!

“Very informative ”
Very passionate and knowledgeable guide for a young man! Ignore the 1 star reviews - he moved away and didn't remove the listing so he's been heavily penalised... only thing to say is that it wasn't much of a walking tour. We spent over one hour on the first floor of the city hall talking through 4 murals and the city crest! Then we crossed the road to the park... loads of info though and it isn't a big town so options for an actual tour are fairly limited.

We LOVED the tour. Joel was great. He asked us questions and kept the us active while he explained everything.
Really interesting.
The only thing is that we would have loved if the tour had more sights to see and not just around the city hall because this is a walking tour and just a standing tour????

Our tour didn't involve much walking yet we learn a lot about the city and its history, plus Joel made us discovet the magnificent paintings of the municipal office. El tour ha estado muy bien, mucha información, se nota que el chico sabe! Alomejor invierte demasiado tiempo en los 4 cuadros explicativos de la historia de Valladolid, en lugar de explorar más la ciudad. Pero tambien es totalmente necesario para entenderla. Ha sido bastante dinamico, siempre haciendo sentir cómodo al grupo, y haciendo que participen en las explicaciones. Muy bien!

We also went into the museum, Joel did everything to make us comfortable and he was very friendly. We chillend a bit with him after te tour and he provided us with great things to do in Valladolid.
