Walking tour through the Turia’s garden into the history, culture, traditions, art exhibitions and architecture where you will have time to enjoy and see the other side of Valencia City with a professional local tour guide.
Things to do Walking on the Valencia River
We will meet at the Serranos Towers to start our tour of the Turia Gardens, one of the largest urban natural parks in all of Spain.
We will climb to the top of the Serranos Towers themselves to hear the introductory explanation from our guide and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Valencia.
Walking along the old Turia riverbed, we will visit the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, the City of Arts and Sciences and The Fallero Museum.
During the tour, we will discover the history of the city and how it has been transformed since the Turia’s river overflowed and caused serious damage.
Already in the area of the City of Arts and Sciences, we will admire the spectacular modern architecture of buildings such as the Reina Sofía Palace of Arts (the Valencian Opera), the Science Museum, the Hemispheric and the Oceanographic.
