“Great tour…too many people to handle”
Tour guide was excellent. This was my 25th “feee” tour in past 24 months. Normally if the tour is larger than 10 people i drop out before it starts. This tour was 20 people and i was with my wofe so i decided to stay. The tour guide was passionate and excellent but even her attempts to speak louder was drained by the sound of the crowds. Reality is, the tour guide ahould cap participatat 10 peopke or insist in the use of a speaker for the guide or headsets for the guests if they plan on having more. We will never participate in a tour wothbthis large if angroup again and i shoukd have dropped out from the start. Despire the guide asking if she could be heard, it was immaterial since her options were slim and the issues would have been the same.

“Okay but Room for Improvement”
We have done about 6 walking tours in Europe during our travels in the past 2 months. This one was inferior to all of them. We could not hear and understand a lot of what the guide said as she spoke too quickly and with her accent on some of the Spanish words. I tried to stand close and heard more than my partner who claims he heard about 25% of the tour. We also reccommend the use of a headset and speaker.

Its always hard to choose a tour among the many possibilities, so here is what you get if you choose this one: A nice guide glad to answer questions, helpfull visual aids, enough information to get a good understanding of Valencia (from its origins to the present day) and shade to shelter you from the sun on almost every stop. Doe, our guide, was on time, knowledgeable, and kind. We were fortunate that we had a private tour with her since another party cancelled. We appreciate that she still showed up & conducted the tour for only 2 people! We had just arrived for a 4-day visit (as 1st timers) to Valencia so this tour was a nice overview and orientation with a lot of history. Plus, Doe presents a local's point of view, which we appreciate. She is proud of her city, yet she understands some of the challenges that it has faced. She answered our many questions so we better understand Valencia (culture, history, people). Doe also offered great tips. Because I work in the travel & tourism industry for 17+ years, I have taken many tours. Doe and this tour ranks high among them. We had our tour today. Our guide was good but there are many things to improve.
We only stopped on loud places, the guide started to talk even if the group was not complete, the voice were quiet silence, it was boring in a while and the hole atmosphere were not so good as we expected.
