Valencia is an amazing city where I'll help you discover spectacular places and endless curiosities. I am Lucia, a prior languages teacher and aid worker. I love travelling, and that is why I know very well what makes a place special. I have lived in exciting countries like Ethiopia, Burma, and China, as well as the UK and Ireland. You will have the opportunity to explore the legacies left by the Romans, Moors, and Christians. I will tell you the legends of relevant historical characters, such as the Borgia dynasty or James I, King of Aragon. Our tour includes visits to North Train Station (meeting point), Town Hall Square, the Palace of the Marquis of Two Waters, the Cathedral, the Basilica, the Generalitat Palace, Saint Nicholas Church, the Silk Exchange Market, and the Central Market. I will share anecdotes and provide recommendations to help you make the most of your stay in the city, including suggestions for restaurants serving paella and tapas.

“Excellent tour”

“Friendly tour by native Valenvian”
Very nice, relaxed tour with easy walking pace was very informative. Lucia is a retired school teacher that organizes the walk to be fun and educational.
At the end of the tour she shared with us some of her favorite eateries of which we tried one and the tapas & wine and service was great!
Lucia did a great job for our group. 5 stars!

The tour was in Spanish but Im leaving the review in English to save time. Outstanding tour, our guide Lucia knows the city really well & really brought the city to life with excellent historical anecdote’s & explanation on the fascinating city of Valencia. This is so much more than a tourist city, its a key part of the history of Rome, the Chirch Spain, the Moors, the civil war & so much more. Do yourself a favour, when in Rome learn some of the local historical culture. Brilliant tour.

If there’s one thing you should do when you arrive at Valencia, it is to book a tour with free tour! Our guide, Lucia, was really knowledgeable, funny and knew all the information of the area, buildings and history. I couldn’t recommend this tour more! It was a great start to our few days here as we learnt a lot about Valencia and can plan our trip out so we don’t miss anything!

Great tour, I’d honestly recommend it to anyone. Lucia is such a lovely guide – charming, funny, and great storyteller. She picked some beautiful spots and shared not just the history, but also the juicy historical intrigues. Even though it was hot, it never felt exhausting or rushed. Just the right mix of easy walking, fun facts, laughs, and refreshment breaks. “It is ok”
Valencia is beautiful, the guide is fine but honestly some constructive critique is required of her behavior towards guests. When she didn't know the answer to some of the questions, she just gets really defensive and almost rude which we didn't appreciate. There's a way to communicate but she came across rude to me and my friends.

“Dedicated and funny guide”
Lucia is a dedicated and knowledgeable tour guide. She talked in details about the places we went through and interesting stories behind the scene. She’s also humourous so the atmosphere was mostly cheerful. It’s nice that Lucia let us experience one typical drink, which makes the trip less monotonous compared to standard walking tours.

“Enjoyable walk and context to enjoy Valencia ”

Lucia led the group to some interesting sites, spoke clearly, and shared some useful information about Valencia which has given us context for the rest of our time in the city. “Very unfriendly guide. Not recommended”
From the beginning of the tour it became clear that this guide had no idea how to interact with the public. As another couple said to me “if she was a dog she would bite ????”. Very unfriendly.
My wife and i do freetours every time we visit a new city. The content of the tour was poor and i found the guide unfriendly and quite agressive.
I am sorry to say this but she needs to learn to smile more and how to interact with the public. She may think she has knowledge about valencia but her way of explaining this was poor and i was left with a bad feeling in my mouth.

In my opinion, the best measure of a well-spent time is how quickly it passes. The time spent on this trip flew by unnoticed. The guide is very friendly, speaks excellent English, and tells the story in an interesting and accessible way. The walk along the designated paths is a fantastic experience; the beauty of the city, presented in an organized way, takes on new colors. Lucia is a person with a strong professional ethic—despite only two people showing up for the tour, she still went ahead and conducted it. Wow!

The tour was informative and well paced but I felt the guide was a bit condescending (referring to "your touristy places" for paella dinners) and we felt a bit of an anti-tourist sentiment. “Great tour of the Old Town”
Lucia was a great tour guide for the Old Town, very knowledgeable and friendly. Also brilliant that she gave us personal recommendations for food, drink and places outside of Valencia
My only downside is that Valencia is such a big and beautiful city and this only covers one small part, I don’t think any your does the full area, and this is a really good tour for the old town

Great tour! The guide did not once ask for a tip unlike other free tours I have done in the past where it has been constant! Pleasure to do the walking tour with our knowledgeable guide!

Being from Valencia , Lucia had a lot of local knowledge, and spoke very good English. Interesting facts given about history dating back to 15th century. Thanks for an enjoyable 2 hours

“Valencia Old Town”
Lucia led us on a 2 hour walking tour of Valencia Old Town. She took us to all of the main sites and provided many interesting historical and social insights into the city's past and present. She was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us many tips for further exploration as well as suggestions for restaurants and other trips. A great introduction to Valencia for the first time visitor.

Arrived in Valencia at 10 am and booked straight on the tour. We didn’t regret it!
Lucia was fantastic and very knowledgeable throughout the tour. She showed up all the main places and provided useful information that we used later in the day like where to eat, other places to visit.

It was an absolutely great tour which is perfect to start to get to know Valencia ! I loved the guide , very friendly and nice . The recommendation list which she gives at the end is useful! We had a lot of fun and I recommend it a lot !
