You will be speechless when contemplating the incredible artistic and historical heritage that it houses inside, which make it the richest cathedral in Spain, which is why it is nicknamed Dives Toletana (the "rich Toledo"). The majesty of its walls, the spirituality of its interior and the richness of its details make your visit essential. You will be impressed by everything that your guide will show you: The Custody of Enrique de Arfe, known as the Treasury, which goes out in procession through the main streets of the city during Corpus Christi; the exceptional choir stalls; and the incomparable Main Altar, with a spectacular altarpiece covered in gold leaf.
The filtered light through the stained glass windows will guide us little by little until we discover a unique work of the Baroque style: The Transparent, made by Narciso Tomé, with the sole help of his two sons, in the 18th century.
In the Sacristy, we will find the Cathedral Museum, where works by some of the most outstanding painters from the 16th to the 19th centuries are concentrated: El Greco, Goya, Velázquez, Titian, Van Dyck and Caravaggio, among others.
