The Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, built in the XII century, is considered the oldest synagogue building in Europe still standing. It was converted to a Catholic church in the early 15th century, and nowadays is just a tourist place, not a temple. Here, beauty and architecture come together, as well as being able to breathe the atmosphere of tolerance that reigned during the period of coexistence of the three cultures.
The Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, a unique building of Spanish-Flemish Gothic architecture, surprises us with its connection to the life and politics of the Catholic kings, Isabel and Fernando.
In the afternoon, and after some free time for lunch, you can enjoy a guided walk through one of the most beautiful and unknown areas of the city: the convent area.
