Full Day Segovia

You start the day at the Palaces of Riofrio and La Granja to enter a world of royal splendour and cultural heritage. The first visit is to the Royal Site of Ríofrío, located in a privileged natural setting near Segovia, you will find an architectural jewel of neoclassical style. Built in the 18th century, this royal palace captivates with its sober elegance. Continue your journey to the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso, where you will be immersed in a world of Baroque grandeur. This palace complex, built in the 18th century, is testimony to the magnificence of the Spanish monarchy of the time. The exquisite gardens and fountains of La Granja are another highlight of the visit.

In the afternoon, the visit to the city of Segovia starts at the Aqueduct, a walk through 2000 years of history. Discover the Aqueduct, its secrets and legends, continue along the Calle Real still in the walled city, reach the house of the Picos, to discover the palaces and churches in the Plaza de Medina del Campo. Continue the visit with the history of the Jewish quarter until you reach the Plaza Mayor where you can see the Dama de las Catedrales (Lady of the Cathedrals). On the way you can see the popular architecture of the last 5 centuries, with the characteristic "sgraffito". Walk down through the Barrio de las Canonjías to the marvellous Alcazar. Inside the Alcazar you can imagine how the ancient Castilian Kings lived in the rooms of the palace. Inside the "Lady of the Cathedrals" we will discover the naves, vaults, chapels, choir, and the exhibition rooms: cloister, chapter house and painting room.
