Sport fishing in the south of Gran Canaria

Yoorney brings you this interesting activity to do on the southern coasts of Gran Canaria. This fishing boat, with a capacity to accommodate 6 passengers and 2 crew members, departs from the Puerto Rico pier and remains in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean for 5 or 6 hours to fish well.

Daily departures at 09:00. Returns take place at 15:00.

Depending on the time of year, the boat sticks to two types of fishing: deep-sea fishing and trolling.

Bottom fishing (winter, from the end of September to March) consists mainly of placing the baited hook on the bottom, where different marine species live that will attend the feast.

Trolling (summer, from April to September) is based on the trawl of the tackle.

The activity includes a break to recharge your batteries and enjoy a snack consisting of a sandwich, fresh fruit and a soft drink.

Don't forget to bring sun protection, a shirt, sunglasses, a hat, and a sweater.

You may also want to bring a photo or video camera. If you have your own fishing gear, you can bring it.
