What attracted pirates, writers, knights, earls, artists and many more, and now attracts so many visitors? Join our Free Tour Pals and discover this impressive medieval town!

We start the tour in Ca la Pruna, with an introduction to the origins and history of the town and the region: the Empordanet. Then we will go to Plaça Major and we will enter the old town, crossing one of the portals of the old walls.

As we advance in our free tour we will enter the past of this town, and we will pay attention to important details in windows and doors that would otherwise go unnoticed, until we reach the Church of San Pedro. Do you know how knives used to sharpen?

We will continue the Free Tour Pals towards the Torre de las Horas, the most important in the town: we will explain its function and enjoy some wonderful views before continuing north and crossing the walls to enter the Mirador de Josep Pla viewpoint, where we will finish our visit amazed by the views towards the plain and the sea.
