Do not miss this great opportunity to cross the largest Wooden Walkway that currently exists in all of Europe.
Having contact with nature without leaving the city is one of the things offered by the Guadalhorce Nature Reserve Hiking Trails, one of the areas with the greatest ecological value in Andalusia. During this sunset walk we will see the best places on the Great Malaga Path and you will be amazed by all the birds and species that live among its trees.
Guadalhorce footbridge
The route will begin right at the new and radiant Pasarela del Guadalhorce, the longest wooden bridge in the world and that connects Malaga capital with the Guadalmar area, one of the best known in the city. This walkway is more than a connection between two neighborhoods, from it we can appreciate views of the Guadalmar beach and the Guadalhorce river that will deserve a stop to take the odd photo.
Then we will continue walking through the Natural Area that surrounds the river, where we will find banks and viewpoints in which the fauna so characteristic of this area of Malaga is concentrated. The nests of the Chortilejo Patinegro, the black stork or the Audoin gull are some of those species that spend a large part of their lives at the mouth of the Guadalhorce and the beach of Guadalmar.
Sunset on the beach of Guadalmar
We will cross other bridges that have been operating for years in this part of the Great Malaga Path and we will take advantage of the hour of the walk to observe one of the most beautiful pictures of the capital of the Costa del Sol: the sunset in Guadalmar and the transfer of the birds. Everything we tell you will never represent the great beauty of this moment ...
We advise you to take comfortable clothes and sunglasses, as well as a little water to make the journey more enjoyable. So do not resist any more and come with us to the Guadalhorce Nature Reserve Hiking Trails, nature awaits you!
