Things to do Discover Literary Madrid

On this tour, we will breathe the same air that breathed the Golden and Silver Generations of Spanish literature. Starting our tour in the Plaza de la Provincia, we will cross the street to learn the story of Jacinto Benavente and his "almost fight" with Jardiel Poncela. Next, we will go to the Plaza de Santa Ana, where much of the theatrical scene of Baroque Madrid was concentrated, without forgetting iconic places like the Church of San Sebastian (burial site of Lope de Vega) or the various taverns where not so many years ago could be seen Ramón María del Valle Inclán. The tour culminates at the turn of Huertas Street and discovers several places of enormous relevance, such as the convent of the Trinitarias Descalzas (where lies the body of the most famous writer in the world), Quevedo Street (which in turn was the street of Góngora, but I'll tell you about that in the tour) and the house of Lope de Vega and Cervantes.
