Canyoning Sima del Diablo

Come with us to the Sima del Diablo is a completely aquatic ravine at any time of the year, surrounded all the way by extensive riverside vegetation where we will also enjoy a very cool and shady environment thanks to its poplars, willows and hanging lianas.

It is located in the deepest part of the Genal Valley, located in Júzcar (Málaga) better known as the Smurf town, have you hear something about it before?

The village, next to Sima del Diablo, where is the meeting point is called Juzcar but most of the people know it as The Smurfs Village. All the houses, Town hall, even church and cemetery are painting in bleu colour and there is many wall painting of smurfs, mushrooms (…).

But why? This was the village chosen by Sony Pictures in 2011 to promote their ‘The Smurfs’ movie in 3D. After the successful impact of tourism in this white mountain town, the citizens decided to keep the blue colour on their houses and become a major tourist attraction specially for families, children and curious.

Its flow is constant, so it allows us to enjoy jumps into the water, natural slides that end in a dip and rappels up to 10 meters high with large waterfalls that accompany us on our adventure leaving their mark on a magnificent and fun experience.
