Delve into Guadalajara and marvel at the impressive mural paintings that Guadalajara holds in its buildings and discover why the artistic movement of Mexican Muralism is famous around the world. We will begin our tour at the Palacio Municipal (City Hall), to appreciate the early paintings and the beautiful Spanish-style architecture of the building. Then we will visit the Iberoamerican Library, where we will see one of the first paintings made with this art movement, done in the 1920s by the great Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros. We will walk to the Government Palace, a colonial building where we will appreciate some impressive paintings by Jose Clemente Orozco, one of the greatest Mexican painters. We will walk through the beautiful streets of the city to finish our tour in a beautiful place that is also a World Heritage Site: The Cabañas Museum, where we will appreciate some incredible paintings that will leave you with your mouth open, considered the masterpiece of José Clemente Orozco. join us and spend a day surrounded by art!
