Special Tour Patios of Cordoba Festival

At the height of spring and just a few days before the arrival of summer, Cordoba and its courtyards are decked out to celebrate their great annual event. In the Special Tour Cordoba Courtyard Festival we will visit the best houses and be amazed by the beauty of their courtyards. The guide will tell stories and legends of the most picturesque neighborhoods where the famous Cordoba patios are located.

During the first two weeks of May, Cordoba celebrates the Festival of Patios, a great event in which the neighbors decorate their houses in order to win the prize that the City Council awards to the most beautiful patio in the city. 

This competition is already a tradition, it has been held since 1921 and it is a perfect opportunity to take a trip around the courtyards of Cordoba. Did you know that there are two types of courtyards in the city of Cordoba? The single-family houses are the main scenes that we will find in the tour, although we may have the opportunity to access the neighbors' patios, where the balconies decorated with plants have more room.
