On this tour, we’ll stroll through the most iconic spots in Cádiz, and I’ll share the fascinating history of the oldest city in the Western world, spiced up with interesting stories and anecdotes about the city. Over the course of these two hours, you’ll learn to identify the house of a merchant who traded with the Indies, discover some hidden gems of our heritage, and find out why Cádiz was the only city in Spain that Napoleon couldn’t enter—among many other things! From our meeting point next to City Hall, in Plaza San Juan de Dios, let me guide you through our 3,000 years of history in a dynamic and entertaining way so you can get to know today’s Cádiz much better and understand the leading role we played in the past, with a special stop to discuss “La Pepa,” Spain’s first Constitution of 1812. - The tour will run with a minimum of 5 people. - Dog-friendly.
