We will start next to the town hall, in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, emblematic place of the city and former main square and central market of Cadiz. We will continue to the heart of the city, the Plaza de la Catedral. At this point, the Arco de la Rosa and the Church of Santiago share space with one of the most important monuments of Cadiz, the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on the Waters. It is a spectacular building dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, where baroque and neoclassical styles are combined. We will continue our tour a few more steps to the Plaza de la Candelaria. Afterwards, we will visit the Calle Ancha, where elegant buildings and some of the main commercial stores are located. This is one of the most important streets of Cadiz, where you will also find the Church of San Pablo. Finally, we will go to the Plaza de la Mina, where the old orchard of the Convent of San Francisco is buried and where the Museum of Cadiz is located We will finish our tour in the Alameda, a landscaped promenade where you can appreciate the route of the old wall while enjoying the tranquility of the sea.
