Things to do Free Tour of Cabra

At the agreed time, we will meet at the Tourist Office to start this free tour of Cabra. Where does the name of this town in the province of Cordoba come from? What is its relationship with the Cid Campeador? You will be surprised with everything you will learn! During the tour, we will walk through the historic center of Cabra, contemplating the exteriors of its most iconic monuments. We will start in the Cerro neighborhood, known for its winding streets and typical white houses adorned with flowers. From this area we will contemplate the imposing walls of the castle of the Counts of Cabra, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. In this neighborhood, we will observe the exterior of the church of San Juan Bautista, the oldest in the city. Here, we will explore the Visigothic past of the area.
