Royal Alcazar of Seville

Seville is a city full of monuments and, undoubtedly, one of those that can not miss on your trip are the Reales Alcazares. Declared a World Heritage Site since 1987, it is a palace complex that brings together both Muslim and Christian vestiges. In it, we see the passage of history and we become direct witnesses of great events that have been lived inside, such as the wedding of Charles V with Isabella of Portugal, or the creation of the first Casa de la Contratación. 

As if it were a book of Art History, touring the gardens, courtyards and palaces of this monument takes us through the different constructive and artistic stages of the city. After crossing the famous entrance gate of the Lion and the gardens that follow, from the Patio de la Monteria we appreciate the three great buildings of the complex: the Gothic Palace of Alfonso X, the Mudejar Palace of Pedro I and the Casa de la Contratación. After visiting the interior of these places and the jewels they hide, we arrive at the Pond of Mercury and the gardens, also famous for having been a filming location for the series Game of Thrones.
