The province of Cádiz, in addition to being one of the most beautiful in Spain, is one that offers us the most diversity of landscapes. From its famous white sand beaches and crystal clear waters to its mountain peaks with fir forests more typical of other latitudes in Europe. On our tour we will discover, in addition to its two main cities, the culture of Sherry wine, which has undoubtedly contributed even more to the international fame of this destination.
After leaving behind the cultivated fields of the old Guadalquivir marsh and the landscapes of the Sierra de Grazalema, home to the mythical white villages of Andalusia, we will arrive in Jerez de la Frontera to take a short tour of the city center and visit one of its sherry wine cellars. Jerez or Sherry is a wine with its own denomination of origin from this area of Spain that has brought great prosperity to the city. During the visit of the winery we can also enjoy a small tasting of these wines before leaving for our next destination of the day.
The city of Cádiz hides a unique maritime atmosphere, an impressive history, friendliness, art and delicious cuisine. Environments full of beauty such as the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the Cathedral of Cádiz, the Barrio de la Viña or the Playa de la Caleta, are some of the emblematic places that we can visit.
While we walk through its beautiful streets and squares we will get to know in depth the history and culture of Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe and the cradle of the Spanish Constitution of 1812.
We will enjoy a short break for lunch in one of its typical bars or restaurants where we can savor the rich gastronomy of Cadiz, with fresh fish and excellent wines. There will be time for everything and you will also have the opportunity to do some shopping if you wish. Before returning to Seville, we will visit one of its beaches to take one last breath of fresh air.
