Casa de Pilatos is one of the most visited monuments in Seville and when you go to see it you will understand why. It is, for the taste of many, the best palace house in our city.
It was created in the 15th century by the marriage of Pedro Enríquez and Catalina de Ribera, one of the great women of her time, creator, among others, of the Hospital de las Cinco Llagas. She put all her efforts into making this great palace his home, although we owe its appearance and history to his successors, Don Fadrique and Per Afán de Ribera.
On our Casa de Pilatos Guided Tour we will tell you the reason for its name while we visit the various rooms that refer to it. We will walk through the archaeological gardens while we delight ourselves with the Roman sculptures from the 1st and 2nd centuries that decorate them and we will learn about the Triana ceramics that adorn most of its rooms, making up the largest and best collection of tiles in the world.
Note: Cancellation of the tour is not allowed.
