The best way to discover Cuenca in broad daylight. A World Heritage city with a surprising and unknown history that will delight all travelers who come to discover it.
The best way to discover Cuenca in broad daylight :-) We'll start the route at the fountain in the Plaza Mayor, in front of the Cathedral, and continue the day through the city's most famous area: the Hanging Houses and the San Pablo Bridge. We'll walk toward Cuenca's skyscrapers, where, due to their unique location, several amusing anecdotes have occurred. We'll continue our journey to Plaza de Mangana, to learn about the mysterious origin of its clock tower, and then continue toward Plaza de la Merced, where we can see (except on Mondays and holidays) a couple of Muslim artifacts inside the Science Museum of Castilla La Mancha. We'll end in the Plaza Mayor, exploring Cuenca's Cathedral. Important information: NOTE 1: The tour can be taken with a stroller, but it is much better and more comfortable to carry a backpack with little ones, as there will be stairs in some sections. NOTE 2: This tour perfectly complements the "Night Spell" tour, as 90% of the tour changes.
