Discover Cuenca on foot, among its gorges and historical corners, while tasting the authentic local gastronomy. Join us and experience flavors, stories, and traditions that will make your tour unforgettable.
We will meet at the fountain in the Plaza Mayor and, after introducing ourselves, we will head to the Plaza de Mangana. This space is perfect to start tasting what will come next, since the three religions coexisted here, and we will begin to discover the origin of Cuenca's gastronomy. We will go to the following restaurants: 1) Mangana: Located in the main square, we will taste the first dish, ajoarriero, with local red wine. 2) Savbia: A little above the previous one, we will continue with our pleasant way to taste the morteruelo, typical dish par excellence of Cuenca, accompanied by a white or red wine and the delicious views that the Huécar gorge offers us. 3) Raff San Pedro: With several Repsol suns and recommended in the Michelin Guide, between the walls of the fourteenth-century and nineteenth-century stables, we will taste an excellent dish from the prism of traditional cuisine. 4) Casa Manzar: We will finish our first part of the tour in this beautiful place, where we will have a tour inside, as it was the home of José Luis Perales. After a brief visit to the Júcar gorge, we will finish with a tasting of Cuenca's liquor and sweets.
