The Guided Tour in Avila start at the indicated time in front of the Plaza de Santa Teresa de Jesús. From this central point we will start the guided tour of Ávila, a beautiful city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. Let's discover why!
We will begin the route entering the interior of the famous wall of Ávila. How was this defensive system devised? Why has it been preserved until today? We will reveal these questions about the thick wall that surrounds the entire historic center of the city as we head towards the Plaza de Adolfo Suárez.
The next stop will take place in the Plaza de la Catedral, where we will contemplate the exterior of this temple. Did you know that it is considered the first Gothic cathedral in Spain? The guided tour will continue on San Segundo street to later contemplate the Basilica of San Vicente, one of the Romanesque jewels of the city.
After an hour and a half of travel, we will end the Guided Tour in Avila in the Plaza de la Catedral. Until next time!
