We’ll start next to the Palacio de los Momos and La Maternidad, designed by Baltasar Lobo. From there, we’ll walk through Plaza Sagasta, past the Church of San Juan de Puerta Nueva and the Merlú statue, through Plaza de Viriato, past the Church of San Ildefonso, and to the Mirador del Troncoso, which offers breathtaking views of the Duero River.
We’ll continue to Plaza de la Catedral and the Portillo de la Lealtad, traditionally known as the Puerta de la Traición, the setting for one of Zamora’s most famous legends. We’ll end the tour next to the Castle, surrounded by works by Baltasar Lobo and with magnificent views of the city.
