Special tour during summer to enjoy Úbeda and its monuments and palaces. We will start by visiting the medieval streets of the historical center and admire the majestic palaces, convents, and churches built between the 15th and 16th centuries when some of the nobles of intensity achieved great power in the court.
First, we will stroll through the Plaza 1º de Mayo, where the souk was located when Úbeda was called Ubbadat, and we will admire the old Town Hall (17th century) and the Church of San Pablo (13th-17th century).
We will visit the Plaza Vázquez de Molina, the main Renaissance area of the city, and there we will be able to contemplate the Sacra Capilla del Salvador (outside and inside), a unique building in the Spanish Renaissance, where the remains of Francisco de los Cobos y Molina, Secretary and Advisor of Charles I rest.
Once we leave the Plaza Vázquez de Molina, we will visit the interior of the Palacio Vela de Los Cobos , the only inhabited Renaissance palace in the province, which has one of the most important art galleries and private libraries in Andalusia.
