Toledo Underground Tour

The Toledo Underground Tour will take us to the secret passages and dungeons and we will discover the most interesting stories about this subsoil with the company of our Spanish speaking guide.

Maybe it used to be a refuge during wars, a religious place, a water reservoir... Toledo’s underground is well known due to its labyrinthine passages and its genuine rock excavations. The citizens used it as place of prayer, as baths, and much more.

We will together unfold this part of the history visiting five essential places: the Well of El Salvador which nowadays still flows water, the Roman Baths where we can find rests and traces since the Roman Age, the Jewish House in the heart of the Jewish district, the Baños Árabes del Caballel whose structure dates from 1183, and the popular Toledo Dungeons, where many stories still revolve around them.
