Underground Toledo: night tour visiting Thermae

Guided tour of the Toledo Underground in Spanish, a walk below and above the old city. Our most famous route, like no one else does in this city. We currently visit 4 underground spaces. We also walk outside, through different streets and corners of the city, it is not always underground. And at night, or in the afternoon. Book this route in advance, it fills up quickly…

Whoever does not know the undergrounds of Toledo does not really know the city. Under the walls and doors of ancient Toledo, preserved as treasures, hundreds of basements, caves, galleries are hidden… An unusual set of rooms of the underworld that very few get to know, which shape this route of the Toledo Underground.

We narrate the underground history of the city, but looking for private locations and highlighting mainly the history, anecdotes and curiosities of these spaces and their location in time. We also walked through various corners of the city on the way to these undergrounds.

The undergrounds we visited were:

Thermae. The most impressive Roman underground in Toledo. Private space, we opened with our own key.

Dungeons of the Posada de la Hermandad. Space belonging to a museum, accessed with our guide.

Walk through different corners of the city (old town) on the way to the undergrounds.

The route runs through different streets of the city, the undergrounds are accessed privately, they are not open to the public except for the dungeons, which is an exhibition. The undergrounds are not visited in the order indicated. The final point is not specified as they can end in any of the underground tunnels. The price includes entry to the indicated spaces.
