My name is Jaime Giner, and I was born and raised in Beceite, a town with a medieval spirit located in the heart of the Matarraña region. As someone who knows its history and traditions well, I’ll guide you through its most iconic spots to discover the Templar legacy that still endures in its streets, the majestic stone bridge over the river, and the ruins of the ancient Muslim castle of Bayt Zayd, the origin of modern-day Beceite. During the tour, we’ll also explore the valleys, rivers, and tributaries surrounding the town, with a special focus on the Matarraña River, whose waters have shaped one of the most beautiful landscapes in Aragon.
