Explore Beceite: stone streets, Templar history and a Moorish castle. Enjoy the mountains and the Matarraña river in this unique tour. Live an unforgettable experience surrounded by biodiversity and captivating landscapes.
I am Jaime Giner, born and raised in Beceite, a village with a medieval soul located in the heart of the Matarraña region. As a connoisseur of its history and traditions, I will accompany you through its most emblematic corners to discover the Templar legacy that still remains in its streets, the majestic stone bridge over the river, and the remains of the ancient Muslim castle of Bayt Zayd, origin of the current Beceite. During the tour we will also know the valleys, rivers and tributaries that surround the town, with special prominence of the Matarraña river, whose waters have shaped one of the most beautiful landscapes of Aragon. A walk full of history, nature and curiosities that only a local guide can tell from the inside.
